Have you ever felt that you’ve been touched by an angel? I have…multiple events in my life have proved this to me without the shadow of a doubt, and I feel compelled to write about it.
Actually, I sometimes feel that I am supposed to tell others.
A few years ago while I was in Peru, I met an Argentinian woman that was staying in the same hotel. She was a striking figure because she had the kind of look in her eyes that told me that she saw more than others are able to see.
She and her traveling companion had just spent 25 days living with the nomadic Q’ero people.
The Q’ero are the most respected Shamans in the whole Andean region. They live, dress, and practice the traditions as the Incas did. They work with a great connection with the Cosmos, are conscious of a whole living world, and remind us that we are sacred as everything in this world.
I was mesmerized with their story and it also confirmed that these were two very special persons.
We talked about how we all have our personal “guides” and explained how our personality usually reflects the personality of our “guide”. So for example, if your guide is “childlike”, you will act childlike and so forth.
Huh? What type of personality does my guide have?
I’m thinking that my guide obviously loves adventure, is opinionated, tends to be pragmatic, and has a great sense of humor. How about yours? 😉
I found this a novel concept so I asked her…“Are you referring to angels?”, and she said, “Yes, you may call them angels”.
I found myself telling her, “because I believe that I have a very strong connection with my angel... and I can even call him at will”. Please understand that I don’t normally go around telling people about this…but I felt this was one person that would understand what I was saying.
She smiled at me and immediately said “I know, I’m seeing him. He is very close to you…in fact, he is all over you; but there is also a woman standing near you… she maintains her distance and lets him do all the talking… but she is there… I see her clearly. You have two angels”.
Well…I was very happy to hear that!
Since I don’t follow an organized religion, I’m not particularly religious. However, I’m deeply spiritual and very connected to nature. I realize that not everyone is or believes the same, and that to some persons all this may sound a little crazy. However, I know what I know and I feel what I feel. And yes, I feel that I know my angel.
I’m very grateful for all the gifts I have been given…especially insightfullness, intuitiveness, and the awareness to know this. I have such complete trust and belief that no real harm will come my way, that I just do…and it all just flows like magic. It’s beautiful to watch from a place of mindfulness.
Therefore, I go with angels and I live without fear… and that is the greatest gift of all.
