Here Is The Secret…

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Mark 8:36

Should be simple but it isn’t easy to get off the merry-go-round. It isn’t easy to stop and consciously work on that spiritual side that is so important to our emotional well being.

However, the reality is that wether we accept it or not, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

People confuse this. We are not humans beings that may be having a spiritual experience… it’s the other way around. We are soulful beings living in a human body and a physical world.

Sometimes we are so busy making money, building businesses, accumulating wealth, owning stuff, and collecting earthly pleasures, that we just forget or don’t take the time to feed our soul. Those earthly matters are somehow giving meaning and purpose to our lives.

Perhaps material things do give us temporary happiness…albeit very temporary…like that new toy in Christmas. Whereas experiences will brings us bursts of happiness that will last longer; and it’s possible to feel that joy again as the experience is recollected. I think that writing them down is a great way to go back and relive the feeling again and again. Maybe that’s why I do! However… I am talking about the state of bliss…of quiet happiness that can only come from within.

If you take notice, the messages are everywhere. I sometimes feel that there is a collective awakening happening worldwide. Those that answer that wake up call… that metaphorical ringing telephone…begin to evolve and grow as human beings. However, the work must be done…it just isn’t enough to read the positive affirmations or “like”👌 the little messages here and there.

If you take care of nourishing that divine energy inside…when you take care of your soul, then you begin to find the inner peace we all seek. The peace that all the prophets talk about… no matter which religion you practice. The peace that Jesus said He was leaving with us.

That elusive peace is the goal. When you find that peace, you find long lasting happiness.

Simple.
